Tax Credit Update: $8000 tax credit can be used towards Down Payment at Closing.

KingKwong.com, an Orlando real estate blog, has just heard some great news from Rick Cason an affiliate from Integrity mortgage:

The FHA is going to permit it’s lenders to allow homeowners to use the $8000 First Time Home Buyers credit as a downpayment at closing.

This is very big news. This is something we are hoping will turn the housing market around and act as a catalyst in turning the economic woes we are in around.
